Hi.

Having trouble compiling the Openstep 4.2 driver kit examples. None of them compile.

I have installed OS4.2, OS4.2 Developer, Enterprise Object Framework, 4.2 patch's 3 user and developer.

Did any one else have to modify the system make files to get them to compile.

I've copied the examples to a local directory to compile them as well.

The examples compile a lot easier on 3.3.

Morgon mentioned in an old thread that the Openstep 4.2 driver kit examples are actually NEXTSTEP 3.3 driver kit examples. He also stated: "For a start in driver development you need the NS 3.3 developer packages as that contains the needed DriverKit which has been removed in OS developer". So the Openstep 4.2 driver kit examples need to be reviewed and possibly removed from the archives. I really need to get OPENSTEP 4.2 set up with both NEXTSTEP 3.3 developer and OPENSTEP 4.2 developer like kb7sqi had with dev-setup (https://www.nextcomputers.org/NeXTfiles/Software/Kb7sqiARCHIVE/).

QuoteSorry to say that I don't think it is on PEAK but it is on Peanuts

It works really well, although IIRC it required some tweaking for 4.2...

Does any one have that file?
