Option 2: Monitor

Alright, easy question. Is this a printer cable or a monitor cable?
Coming from you :-) I'd say that's the long (6ft?) video cable
Gotta be a monochrome monitor cable.
I have several monitor and several printer cables... the ends are too wide to be a printer cable :)
its gotta be a monitor cable
Monitor.
Printer cable is DB-9.

I think he said his Pyro, yeah, that's what we win :D
I call first dibs on the pyro!
No, I call dibs!
I was the first to vote.
And I the first to reply :-p
You're all absolutely correct (except for one person voting). It is a monitor cable. There's no way to confuse the two if you've seen each.
Here's the problem:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130092675436When I bid on it, I probably saw the picture and assumed it had been mislabeled. Or I may not have even noticed that the picture didn't match the description, I was likely in a hurry.
In any case, after the auction ended I wrote to the seller to find out whether I'd be getting what was in the picture (monitor cable) or what the description was. Rather than clarifying, he's insisting that the picture is of a printer cable, and just won't admit he screwed up the auction listing.
What showed up was, as I feared, another printer cable. Oh well.
I hate it too when these images don't represent the description. How lazy do you have to be, right? Everyone and their grandma has a digital camera these days...
By the way, a standard DB-9 cable works just fine for the printer. No special cable needed.

You mean like IT Equipment Express?
They never post a picture of the item and instead post their dumb logo while at the same time, gouge on parts.

Since 97, eh?
Have you
ever posted a real photograph of an item?

ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. I HATE THOSE FSCKERS!
Every time I accidentally end up in one of their pages, the time it takes my hand to move to the BACKSPACE key (or to left-click and move the mouse left, if I'm using Opera at the moment), is less than the duration of a single flap of a Hummingbird's wings! (aka: really fast!)
I HATE them. Not only they don't ever (since 1997???) have any photos of the items they sell, but if you check out their prices, they are exhorbitant! They're asking 10-20x the market value! Sometimes I wonder HOW these fsckers make money!? Who buys their crap???
I hope they go out of business. Annoying bastards!
Before this "shop", I thought email SPAM was the number one network bandwidth waste. Now I've got a whole new runner up!

With those prices, they only need to have a couple of suckers buy something, to probably tide them over for the year. As others have said, it is really annoying to be searching for something and see them come up as one of the few who have it.

Hahaha. Very true!
