Every NeXTcube fanatics dream setup.  Dimension board, dual monitors, loads of manuals and software as well.  Wish I had an extra grand laying around so I could snag this, as it would be the highlight of my collection.  :(

This is a really great find, and I am seriously considering making a stab at it.  I have a good Idea what most of it is worth, but not the dimension board.  What was the last price that a dimension board like this went for separately?  So what does everyone think this is realistically worth, and how high do you think it will go?

i dont think it will go as high as the seller thinks, then again im not really eduacted on the current NeXT market prices. he seemed a little snooty about the whole deal. he did say he would be willing to break it up possibly but said he would rather not do this, which i dont blame him. looks like a great setup and im sure some lucky person out there will get this great setup

From my limited experience, and what others have said here, NeXT prices seem to be on the high side currently.  I have only seen one dimension board for sale before, and do not know what the final price was, but was led to believe it was in the hundreds of dollars.  With the prices some of the complete cube systems have been getting lately, this one should sell well due to the good shape and completeness of the setup.  An 040 cube setup with a 4Gig drive and a non working OD sold for over $400 recently on ebay, and an 030 cube only went for over $100.

Title: NeXT Dimension

The last one I saw on Ebay was bought by some nut in Colorado for $700.00US. I saw the guy buy several cubes and the Dimension (he was the guy that bought the NeXT HQ system with all of that software for $900.) I believe in a period of three weeks, he spent well north of $3000.00 on NeXT stuff.

I hope this helps.

Well I hope he is done buying things, so the rest of us have a chance.   Do you remember how much he bought the dimension for?   I cant seem to find a record on ebay for it.

I sold a similiar dual headed monster with a NeXT branded cd rom drive, NeXT mousepad, about 3 or 3 NeXTWorld magazines, and a NeXT cube sized brochure about 4 years ago on Ebay. I got $1,500 USD for it, I still think that would be a good price. I had great pictures of Star Wars Episode I playing on it from a VCR and the sound from a cheap radio shack speaker-a lot of people thought that was cool...

Lets try this from a different tack.

For all those that have a NTSC dimension card, and lets assume that you were in principle willing to sell it, how much would It take to get it?  $200, $500, $1000, or more ..

I'd sell it for around $1000. But then again mine is kinda very rare :)
