alright well last night i installed a new hd in my NeXTStation Color Turbo. removed the old hd, and then installed a different(newer) 50pin 1gig hd.Then i installed a fresh copy of NeXTStep 3.3.
I tried a few seagate hawk drives and some other quantam drives and has no luck. so i tried a conner drive and it worked great
I made similar with the discs as of the my cubes...
I removed the HD discs of 338MB and 660MB in 5"1/4 now, I have only HD discs of 2GB and 4GB in 3"1/2 with 7200t/m.
I think the best is there is much less noise ;) and more speed ;)
Also the electric power work less, the new discs are less greedy!
