i have'nt tried lately, but if i recall it right, there were problems with the ftp protocol in de various desktop ftp clients out there. not able to receive file listings etc. was that ever resolved?
what are the best ftp clients at the moment? (on ns 3.3 that is...)
I recommend ncftp (for console). Search the forums for the links (I've pasted them in the past)
