That's a nice cube. It has the early style enclosure with no ventilation slots on the bottom of the case at the back. The plastic expansion board slide at the case bottom is the early one with no vents in the rear. The backplane also has the early style mounting screws at the end of each expansion board socket.
That looks to be somewhat of a rare cube. :shock:

My earliest cube SN is close to that one AAK0001144.

Thats what peaked my interest a few weeks ago when I kept on seeing that bidder pop up. Must be a serious collector with the amount of stuff purchased. Hopefully someday they will choose to share there thoughts and experiences concerning NeXT hardware, as they have amassed quite a collection.
