That is damn impressive,  Much better than the lambo type guillotine doors seen on the cars from the custom shops.  Lets see the boys over at Unique put a set of these on a Bentley.

I think the concept is pretty cool!

I read that the BMW Z1 was first on the idea:

The Z1's only retracted half way down,  basically the same as removable doors as the wikipedia article says, where as this one has the doors disappear completely into the floor under the seat.  I agree that it is a similar idea, but  the Lincoln implementation is much more impressive.

Aha!  Still, both are impressive and innovative. I like seeing stuff like that in cars. I guess computer manufacturers could also learn a bit. Only Apple seems to have any decent innovations in the last few years on computer cases...
