Can the swap space (location, size) be changed after the fact or is this something that can only be done during installation of the OS?
Reason being that I want to install a separate HD to contain the swap space with the rest allocated for backups. Having two HDs, one for apps and one for swapping, can greatly increase system performance.
TIA,

As in most Unixes it should be not too complicated to move the swap files to a separate disk, after installation. I've not done it on NS yet, but I'd look in the /etc scripts first (using grep).
I put TjL's Swapfile & Swapdisk FAQ online in the FAQ section of the archives. It has a ton of information on setting up and optimizing your swapfile. There's also some supporting documentation to go along with it.
