I do not know if this is bad form or not, so let me know if it is.
Does anyone know who this tiger_barbie is on ebay that seems to bid on anything and everything NeXT related. Every new search I get on NeXT stuff seems to have this user as one of the first bidders, and from the history has bought an awful lot of stuff lately.
Just curious

Yes, it is usually considered bad form to ask for the identity of someone who uses an online handle.
Given time they usually reveal the info themselves after trust has been built.

Hmm... Perhaps $NeXTComputers{'korneluk'} == $eBay{'tiger_barbie'}? ;)
But no, I don't know who it is. I certainly have no reason to offend or anger tiger_barbie. He or she is bidding on several of my auctions at the moment, and if they win I certainly won't reveal anything.
Oh no, mentioning that probably reveals that I'm also "pergamon" on eBay. OOPS!

I think the posts on the forum directing others to your ebay auctions may have let that "secret" slip ;)
I did not mean to offend tiger_barbie or anyone else, just curious about another active NeXT collector.

tiger_barbie... what an awesome handle ;)
My ebay handle is "katiejunesattic" ... It's my grandmothers account that I helped her list stuff on for years now. It's basically my account, I still use it because it has such good feedback ratings. heh.
It's not me. I'm blackcube on forums, "sparks77" on ebay.

You mean my repeated, annoying attempts to get anyone to look at my auctions whenever I happen to post another couple NeXT trinkets - the ones that are cluttering up the Marketplace forum?
Are those the ones you mean? ;)

Thanks, but don't get your hopes up - I'm married!
tiger_barbie
d'oh!
I could tell you, but then I'd have to KILL YOU!
FWIW They also like to buy vintage Apple goodies too...
Probably someone from Japan? From my experience, many Japanese collectors are totally loaded and will throw tons of money at rare/quirky Apple or Apple-related stuff.
FWIW I'm "Mr.Sparkle!" (of Simpsons fame of course) on eBay.

Hmm I resemble that remark. Maybe not loaded but it must be some sort of genetic flaw, this out of control collecting thing.....
