Hi!
New to NeXT ( as I couldn't afford one when I was younger ) I'm looking for a whole NextStation setup ( computer, monitor, Keyboard + mouse ) or, if that's easier, parts so I can mix 'n match myself..
Preferably one that's in good cosmetic shape and has been lovingly cared for. Tall order, but you never know.. :-)
You might want to mention your location, as you might be lucky enough to have someone near you with a machine for sale.
Good luck

Yeah, that might help :-) I'm in San Francisco.

Bought the NextStation and laser printer new in early 1992. Haven't used it in a couple years. Am moving so it is a good time to sell it.
Includes the B&W NextStation, laser printer, mouse and keyboard. All are in perfect condition.

Greetings to another NeXT user in MO, and in St. Louis even.
Does it happen to be a mono turbo station, or a non-turbo one? Do you have a monitor for it or any documentation or cd/floppy media?
Thanks,
Chef
ive got some mono slabs
I don't know if it is a turbo station. It has a monitor. Everything is in perfect condition. Its only use in the last 10 years was by my wife.
The only documentation I have are (1) The 194-page Next Applications book (which covers WriteNow, Digital Library and Mail) and (2) some materials (including password) for Mathematica. I think I threw away my floppies and other documentation.

Picked up this system this weekend .. thanks again Bill, as it was nice to talk with you. Good printer that only has a few thousand prints on it at most, and it still works well.
It is running NS 2.0, and I know someone around here was looking for that version to run on some ram challenged slabs, so it looks like I may be able to help them out. I figure I would hook up an external hard disk and see about cloning it. If I can find a small enough drive, I might even be able to use builddisk instead of the dump/restore method.
If you were looking for NS 2, give me a shout and we can figure something out.
Chef
I'd like to have NS 2 :)
