Speaking of ebay, anyone care to comment on this one:

If it were just a SCSI terminator, why not add one? Eventhough shipping seems high, it's got a whole system there.

Thoughts?

Yeah, I noticed it too, but only after a second look :(  Perhaps it's your time to drive to GA mate :)

Hey Yvo,

I think he's talking about internal termination, which is easy of course, but he might not have any of the 3x9pin (I think) resistor packs. Either way, they're cheap to get.

Now, I'm not so certain from the screen shots (too small) if that's indeed the problem. I can't see the text clearly enough, but it's easy (once you have the text) to see what the problem is, especially if it's termination missing.

The computer in general looks good from what can be seen in the photos. Only comments are: 20MB of RAM will need to be upgraded, 140MB HDD is tiny and will also need upgrading for any serious fun :) Shipping is huge, due to the monitor I guess. And lastly, it says "Mighty mouse, never used and still in plastic", so I assume the photo might not be totally representative since the mouse is outside. Was the NeXT mouse ever called "mighty mouse"? I thought only Apple's mouse was called "mighty mouse" :)

Cheers

The description was probably cut-n-pasted from another auctuion. The MightyMouse is that strange "whole surface was a button" mouse that interpreted mouse presses from where and what direction you clicked on the mouse, that came out a year or so ago from apple.
