Folks,
I would like to buy/borrow a working Daydream ROM box with the corresponding software so that I can trace the circuit, draw a schematic, lay out a PCB, and build more of these prized emulators. This is a fairly small PCB, so cost should not be an issue.
You can either PM me or post your replies here.

I am getting ready to buy a Mac LC for the ROMs. Can anybody post pictures of the inside of the Daydream box?
TIA,

Folks,
I have pictures of the insides of the Daydream ROM box. The Apple ROMs are 128Kx8 devices and the equivalent commercial device is 23C1010.
With this info and the pinout of the DSP port I almost have enough info to start reverse engineering a schematic. Please chime in if you can help.
I have the datasheets and pictures if anyone is interested.

Hi korneluk,
could you give'em to Nitro to add to the forum's files section?
Thanks and good luck with the rev-eng-e! :)
I have, but his inbox is full. :(

Nice photos!
So that's what a Daydream looks like... Simple enough component wise - just a lot of traces.
I wonder why one of the sockets has yet another socket on it!? Perhaps there are some components underneath?
