I'm in the process of trying to make my own ADB Y-cable for a turbo color slab, but have nothing to start with for reference.
I've been using this thread for reference so far:
https://www.nextcomputers.org/forums/index.php?topic=811 (
https://www.nextcomputers.org/forums/index.php?topic=811) however, that is for a non-adb Y-cable and I'm not sure what the differences are between the two. I've noticed so far that connecting pin 7 of the 13w3 connector (Monitor Type 2) to pin 7 of the DB19 will change from 68hz to 72hz video. However, I've got a few more questions:
I didn't see any pins listed for audio in/out, does anyone know what they are? There are 2 extra ground pins on the 13w3 in the pinouts from the above thread, intuitively these could be audio in/out but I'm not sure where they map to on the DB19.
Are there any other pins different for ADB, maybe internally connected pins? So far I've got video and power on/off working fine, but keyboard input doesn't seem to actually be working.
If anyone has an ADB Y-cable, I'd appreciate knowing what the interior pins of the 13w3 map to on the DB19 connector, and if any of the DB19 pins are internally connected.
